Friday night, May 15th at 5pm PST/8pm EST will be another Wine with Kris, but we are going to change things up a bit this week!

Normally during Wine with Kris, we do some quick intros, a quick tasting, then get down to it with some trivia and fantastic music.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To start off, we are going to do a wine tasting of Predator wines 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi, CA .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

After some good wine and intros, we'll have more of a happy hour feel and open up the floor for everyone to share their favorite wine (or beer, bourbon, beverage of choice), and then instead of using a pre-determined playlist, you guys will pick the music!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then we will do a quick vote, whoever gets the most votes for their song will get this weeks prize!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Wine

2017 Predator Wines Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

An intense, full-bodied wine with flavors of dark berries and spice. A smoky finish with firm, yet refined tannins.

The 2017 vintage proved to be another ideal harvest in Lodi. With just enough heat during the day and cool nights, the grapes were able to reach peak ripeness, giving us grapes of wonderful concentration, good balance and refined quality.

77% Cabernet Sauvignon,
23% other complementary red varietals

Recommended Pairing: Short Ribs, or a great burger!

This is will be a fun wine to taste, as we haven't tasted a Cabernet from Lodi yet, and Lodi makes some very diverse wines especially compared to some of the other regions we have tasted wines from during Wine with Kris.
